Privacy Policy
Draft. Awaiting review by a Texas attorney.
Effective October 26, 2026.
This policy covers preflightclient.com and its Book a Preflight Review form.
Customer records that a client business shares with us under a signed agreement are handled under that agreement and its data processing terms, not this policy.
What the booking form stores
When you send the Book a Preflight Review form, we store exactly these items:
- Your name
- Business name
- Website, if you give one
- Industry
- Service area
- Your estimate of monthly inquiries
- How inquiries reach you, if you answer
- Whether you have unbooked inquiries or estimates
- Average job value range, if you answer
- Your current follow-up, if you answer
- Whether you have room for more work
- How you want to be contacted
- Phone, if you give one
- Whether you ticked the optional case-study box. Ticking it records interest only; nothing about your business is published unless you approve the exact text first.
- Which version of the case-study wording the form showed you, so a later change in wording stays traceable
- The first page you opened on this site in that browser tab, without anything after a question mark
- The name of the website that linked you here, if any (the site name only, not the full address)
- The date and time you sent the form
- A one-way scrambled code made from your internet connection's address, used only to limit repeated submissions. Once it is more than one hour old it is cleared at the next form submission or at our monthly cleanup, whichever comes first. The address itself is never stored.
The form does not ask for, and we do not want, your customers' names, phone numbers or lists.
To fill in the first-page and referring-website items, your browser keeps one short note for this tab only: the first page you opened here and the website that linked you, if any. It stays in your browser, reaches us only if you send the form, and is deleted when you close the tab.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads nothing from other companies' servers.
Why we use it
- To review your request and decide whether we are a good fit.
- To contact you about your review, by the method you chose. We call or text only if you chose a phone call or text message.
- To understand which page and which referring website brought you here.
- To record whether you are interested in a case study. That is interest only, not permission to publish.
How long we keep it
We keep your submission until we have reviewed it, and for up to 12 months after our last contact with you. Then we delete it.
The scrambled connection code is only needed for one hour, to limit repeated submissions. After that it is cleared at the next form submission or at our monthly cleanup, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your submission. We act on a request within 30 days.
To ask, email [email protected]. You can also send the booking form with "privacy request" in the follow-up question, or reply to any email we send you.
